Cute Cars

The cutest car I have seen in Japan is not Japanese. It’s the new, updated VW Camper Van. This one was tiny. Made only for the Japanese market maybe?

Giving it a run for its money is the Daihatsu Kopen coupe. It’s a baby beetle.

The Viewt is the Japan’s Inspector Morse jaguar pastiche. However they only focused on the front end looking like the jaguar Mk 2, the rest of it looks bland.

I am not sure exactly what this is, but I like it!

Most of the trucks in Japan have very proud owners who polish their babies up to a spotless shine. This is a working truck on a building site!

This truck is not cute at all (or clean!) but has one very special feature. Its on rails!  This was Japan Rail’s maintenance vehicle on Shikoku Island. It goes on the road and then goes on the rails. Probably not as fast as a Shinkansen though.
