Iya Valley Art

I forgot to post this at the time (too much onsen and food posts!), but I loved this and have to share.

It's an artist's (S.A. Ramsay to be exact - credit where credit is due) rendering of the Iya Valley in teh middle of the island of Shikoku, anatomically and topographically correct, using locally produced 'washi' paper (hand produced) to denote the land and mountains, and local stone, crushed to a powder and mixed with tinted varnish for the river water. Cool!
