Temple 5 - Jizoji

There was a large field of solar installations in our way, obviously new since our book was written, so we had to circumvent a bit and trust our own GPS system, which is generally in pretty good order. and it came through again, despite a bit of off piste wandering.

We also got a bit distracted with village and country elements, such as a flag promoting the local baseball team, the Indigo Socks (and why not? There are Red Socks and White Socks and those team names have nothing to do with a local industry)

Go Indigos
we were also impressed wth this ginormous camphor tree

and someone had put out hot tea and hard
brown sugar for us pilgrims - it would
have been rude not to part

and just being out waling in warm sunshine was worth revelling in

but we finally got there

and got our book signed before the temple closed at 5pm
